NOTES:

Undaground Mafia outta Louisville,KY. This is some classic
Louisville area shit. The first group to bring any noise in
the area. Back in 91-92 they dropped a single entitled
"Gangsta Walk" with a B side of "Godfather". This shit was
gettin mad amounts of play locally as wel as nationwide.
Everybody was looking for them to blow up real big as soon
as they dropped the full length album. Unfortunately though
their label was dicking them around and never would release
the album. Eventually they broke away from their label and
finally put out their debut album on their own a few years
later. So this shit here didn't drop until 1994 after the
hype coming from their hit single had alreay wore off. This
is a pretty tight album. It's a lil dated with more of an
old school sound to the beats and whatnot but still tight.
My favorite tracks are "Gangsta Walk", "Godfather", and
"Ghetto Thang". Unfortunately though the version of their 2
classic tracks off the early single are remixes which don't
live up to the originals. Maybe for contractual reasons or
maybe just to add more bump to the tracks. Everybody peep
this shit.
